PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 2026-08-23
This policy explains what data LoadingBar.club ("we", "the bar", "LoadingBar") collects, why, and your rights under the GDPR and other applicable laws. We keep it minimal on purpose.
1. WHO WE ARE
LoadingBar.club is an independent digital space operated as a sole proprietor. We are the data controller for information collected through this site. Contact: contact@loadingbar.club.
2. WHAT WE COLLECT
- Account email — the address you use to activate an Access Pass (membership). Required for billing and service.
- Membership status — active/inactive state and member ID, stored locally in your browser and mirrored by our payment processor.
- Usage signals — mood inputs you submit to the bartender, radio station selections, and session preferences.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and device info from server logs, used for security and analytics.
- Cookies & local storage — see Section 5.
3. HOW WE USE IT
- To provide and maintain your membership (billing via Waffo, service delivery).
- To generate your cocktail specs and personalize the room's glow/skins.
- To respond to support requests and exercise your rights.
- To secure the site and prevent abuse.
4. PAYMENT & THIRD PARTIES
Subscription billing is processed by Waffo, our payment provider. We do not store your card details. Waffo processes payment data under its own privacy terms. We share only the minimum needed to fulfil your subscription: your email, plan, and billing events.
We use Cloudflare for hosting and edge delivery. Cloudflare may process technical request data (IP, headers) as a processor. Where data is transferred outside the EEA (e.g. to US-based infrastructure), we rely on the provider's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
5. COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE
We use strictly necessary cookies/local storage to keep you logged in and remember consent. Non-essential items (analytics, personalization) load only after you accept our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent anytime by clearing site data in your browser.
6. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA/UK, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate data.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability.
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any right, email contact@loadingbar.club. We respond within one month. Deleting your membership also triggers deletion of associated account email from our active systems.
7. DATA RETENTION
We keep account data while your membership is active and for a limited period after cancellation to handle refunds/disputes (max 12 months), after which it is deleted or anonymized. Server logs are rotated within 30 days.
8. CHANGES
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced on the site and, where required, by email. The "last updated" date reflects the current version.
